Tomorrowland Thailand 2026 in Pattaya: how to get to Wisdom Valley, where to stay and what to do on December 11-13

Tomorrowland Thailand takes place on December 11-13 at Wisdom Valley near Pattaya. How to get there without overpaying for taxis, where to stay and what to do before and after the festival, with or without a ticket.

Tomorrowland Thailand takes place on December 11-13, 2026 at Wisdom Valley. It sits in Bang Lamung, the same part of Chonburi as Pattaya, about half an hour from the beach when the roads are clear. Tickets sold out on the first day of sales, so the real questions now are different: how to get there without spending half your budget on taxis, where to stay and what to do before and after. Here is a plan for every festival day, both for those with a wristband and for those who just happen to be nearby. What we know about the festival. This is the first full-scale Tomorrowland in Asia, and not the last: the contract with the government runs for five years, from 2026 to 2030. Up to 50,000 people a day, around 150,000 over three days, 7 stages and more than 100 artists. The headliners are Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia, their first joint show in Thailand. Entry is 20+, you pay inside with the wristband, and outside food and drinks are not allowed. There is no DreamVille campsite like in Belgium: everyone stays in hotels. If you have no ticket. There is only one legal route - the waiting list in your account on tomorrowland.com, and it guarantees nothing. Tickets are personalised, so a "wristband for sale" post on social media is the fastest way to end up with no festival and no money. For reference, here is what tickets cost: one day - 5,100 baht, three-day Full Madness - 12,500, three-day Comfort - 20,200. How to get to Wisdom Valley from Pattaya. The venue lies north-east of the city, away from the sea, and it is further from Jomtien than from central Pattaya. The access road has one lane in each direction, so on festival days allow anywhere from 30 minutes to over an hour. Your options: 1. Shuttle - included in the official hotel packages. The organisers have not yet published a separate timetable or prices. 2. Grab and Bolt - easy on the way there, but at 1 a.m., after the finale, tens of thousands of people will open the app at once and fares will multiply. 3. Your own car - for a group of four, the cheapest option that depends on nobody: Toyota Vios from 1,250 baht a day, which comes to under a thousand baht per person for three days. One condition: the driver stays sober all night. 4. Scooter - for one or two people who are not drinking. It slips past the queue on the access road, and parking is easier. About scooters and alcohol - no lecture, just facts. The legal limit in Thailand is 0.05% blood alcohol, and a country road at 2 a.m. after twelve hours of music is no place to test your reflexes. If you plan to party hard, leave the scooter at the hotel and take a taxi to the festival and back. On the other days a scooter pays for itself many times over: scooters in the rental catalogue from 200 baht a day. You need an international or Thai driving licence, a deposit of 2,000-5,000 baht, and a helmet is provided. Where to stay. Pattaya hotels for the festival dates already cost roughly twice the usual rate, and searches for December 11-13 are up 14% on last year. The closest areas to the venue are North Pattaya and Naklua: you will not have to cross the whole city. Jomtien is cheaper and quieter, but the drive is longer. If the festival is part of a longer winter stay, price out a flat for a month: a long lease works out noticeably cheaper than nightly rates at peak time. We broke down prices by area in our guide to renting a flat for a month. Thursday, December 10 - arrival. From Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya it is about 120 km and an hour and a half on the motorway. A transfer from Bangkok to Pattaya in a sedan costs from 1,300 baht. December 10 is Constitution Day, a public holiday, so expect busy roads. In the evening, pick up your car or scooter: book rentals in advance, free cars go fast on these dates. Friday to Sunday, December 11-13 - the festival. Gates open at 13:00. On Friday and Saturday the music runs until 1 a.m., on Sunday until midnight. Last entry is at 22:00, on Sunday at 21:00. Leave before 3 p.m., before the main flow jams the access road. Sunset is around 17:50, so aim to be inside by then. Daytime highs reach 30°C, nights drop to 22°C, and December is almost rain-free. Leave the raincoat, bring sunscreen. There are no alcohol ban days on these dates. If you are here without a ticket. No official Tomorrowland city events have been announced in Pattaya, so the easiest plan is a day at sea: Koh Larn and Koh Sak in one day, 900 baht. Two islands, lunch, hotel pick-up at 8:30 and return by 16:00. It runs daily, so it works after the festival too. Monday, December 14 - recovery. Your ears are still ringing and your legs refuse to cooperate, and the best cure is a quiet beach. Paradise Island for 2,700 baht: 15 minutes by speedboat, fine white sand, snorkelling, lunch and fishing, with only your group on the beach. The trip runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, so the 14th is a perfect fit. Tuesday, December 15 - for those who want more. Three Wonders Islands for 2,000 baht: parasailing, banana boat, jet ski, a foam party and drinks all day. Hardly a rest day, more like the festival continued on the water. It runs on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. In short. Tickets - only through the waiting list. Stay closer to Naklua and North Pattaya. Get to the festival by car with a sober driver or by taxi, and leave before 3 p.m. Use a scooter on all the other days. On the 14th - a quiet island, on the 15th - a party on the water for the toughest.
