Mystical Bangkok Excursion from Pattaya The dark and quiet side of the metropolis. Departure: Saturdays and Sundays Asian ghosts are much scarier than their Western counterparts. Thailand has a long tradition of terrifying stories based on real events, and we will visit the locations where these frightening and legendary events took place during this signature excursion. The program is designed for people who are not afraid of ghosts and are interested in unusual phenomena and places of unexplained scientific power. We have done painstaking research to find and gather the most famous “dark” mystical attractions of the capital and include them in a full-day, intensive tour. “Two kilometers from the pier of Ko Kret Island stand the remains of an abandoned mansion, half-burned. The house is located in the middle of a tamarind garden, but since the fire the garden has ceased to bloom and looks sinister. Neighbors often report ghost sightings on moonlit nights. Sometimes they hear a woman screaming and crying...” The guide will tell more of this and other intriguing stories onsite. Tour program: 7:00 Departure from Pattaya. 9:00 Stop at the road, tea, coffee, breakfast available. 10:00 Dragon Temple and Forest Labyrinth. Creepy true stories about the lives of monks in this temple and shocking rituals that were recently conducted here. 12:30 Emerald Room, Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen (temple of the world's wealthiest sect - Dhammakaya), the largest Buddha in Bangkok. 13:30 Wat Khun Chan. Temple dedicated to worship and offering of black items. 14:00 Lunch. 15:30 The mysterious island Ko Kret, home to seven unique villages, the famous Falling Pagoda, the Ghost House, the Village of Oblivion, the Village of Craftsmen, pottery workshops and much more. 18:00 Departure to Pattaya. 20:00 Arrival at Pattaya hotels. Warning! On the way, there is a high chance to encounter wild animals – large monitor lizards, squirrels, rabbits, and pythons. Giant Dragon Temple. Wat Samphan — Dragon Temple, one of the most unusual temples in Thailand. Dragon length - 300 meters, height - 17 floors, founded in 1985. A little-known temple for tourists, it is a 50-meter pink building wrapped by a giant mythical dragon. Previously, tourist access to the temple was strictly forbidden; it had a bad reputation due to monks performing unusual and shocking rites in the surrounding garden. After a media scandal and subsequent court trials of the temple leaders, access was opened to everyone and the place has become increasingly popular. The temple was recently renovated after years of neglect, and only recently it became possible to climb inside the dragon’s body to the top near the gaping mouth. The mysterious island Ko Kret. Bangkok’s gem, an unusual and enigmatic fairly large island with no car traffic, bridges, roads or tall buildings, surrounded by the modern city of skyscrapers. This place raises many questions: why in a city with such population density and expensive land there is a huge island practically uninhabited. Only seven villages are compactly located on the island, with several temples and a pedestrian shopping and entertainment street, and a craftsmen’s village. The island is accessible only by boat. It is an oasis of tranquility and calm in a noisy metropolis. A journey into the past where practically nothing has changed for the last 100-200 years. Child ticket is provided for children from 90 to 130 cm tall. Children under 90 cm who do not occupy a separate seat ride free of charge. ATTENTION Bring your original passport, headwear, a change of clothes, swimwear, a camera, batteries and chargers for electronics, and money for souvenirs. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be denied participation in the tour with loss of paid funds.
