From October 23 you can fly from Hua Hin to Pattaya in 40 minutes. EZY Airlines is launching direct flights from Hua Hin Airport to U-Tapao Airport. U-Tapao is Pattaya's international airport, about 50 km south of Walking Street. Flights operate four times a week: on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Tickets go on sale on October 10, with promo fares starting from 2,900 baht. Where to buy a ticket: 1. The airline's website - ezyairlines.com. 2. EZY Airlines counters at Hua Hin and U-Tapao airports. 3. Online flight booking platforms. The plane is small - a Cessna Caravan with about 10 passenger seats. Seats are limited, so for weekend flights it is best to book in the first days of sales. Check the baggage allowance when you buy: on planes this size it is stricter than on regular low-cost airlines. Until now this trip took half a day. The Pattaya - Hua Hin ferry is not running at the moment, so the only way is overland around Bangkok: about 4-5 hours by car or bus. Now it is easy to combine Pattaya and Hua Hin in one holiday. The schedule also suits a weekend trip: fly out on Friday and come back on Monday. If there are three or four of you with suitcases, compare it with a Hua Hin - Pattaya transfer: a car takes you door to door from 3,000 baht for the whole car. It takes longer, but there are no baggage limits. From U-Tapao, EZY Airlines also flies to Surat Thani, the gateway to Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.
